Our Mission
Welcome to GotGod.com. This website is dedicated to the memory of our son, Nathan Philip Batman and the vision we have to be a support network to families who are dealing with a child with Trisomy 13 or any other life-threatening illness. We hope that we can be a source of hope and strength for all who visit us.
Please Help!
You can help us help others. We are now accepting donations to help fund our efforts to start a non-profit organization to help other parents dealing with Trisomy. It takes a lot of money to start up a foundation and any donation would be greatly appreciated to help us get this foundation officially underway. No amount is too small to help. Please think about giving. Another child's life could depend on it.

The Starfish Story
A man was jogging down the beach after a major storm had just come through the area. He was dismayed by the huge number of starfish that the storm had washed up on the beach. He thought that there was nothing he could do because of the immense numbers. As he continued down the beach he saw a little boy throw something into the water. As he got closer, he saw the little boy walk a little farther down the beach, bend over, pick up a starfish and throw it back into the water. As the jogger approached, the boy stopped again, bent over, picked up another starfish and was about to throw it into the water. The jogger stopped and asked "Why are you doing that? There are thousands of starfish on the beach. You can't possibly make a difference." The little boy looked at the starfish, threw it back into the water, then replied, "I made a difference to that one, didn't I?"
This story is a wonderful depiction of our attitude towards Nathan. The doctors looked at Nathan and said, "almost all Trisomy babies die, what good is it to try and help this one?" Well, it could have made a big difference - to Nathan.
